Capers


Capers are the closed buds of the bush that is native to the Mediterranean region. Known and used in Mediterranean cuisine since ancient times, they are especially used in fish and meat dishes, sauces, pizzas and salads.
Another factor to take into consideration are their nutritional characteristics, which are beneficial to our digestive system, besides being anti-rheumatic, antioxidant and being a good source of fibre.
